Hi, I'm Tyson

About myself

Possibly my ideal (or possibly worst) feature is that I'm permanently disappointed with my own understanding.

This might be the reason I've shown a particular ability for mathematics and physics. Merely knowing is never ever good enough for me; I must minimum attempt to rigorously understand the thinking behind the maths I do, and then, take my expertise to its limits. Asking excessively why something is the way it is, possibly to the aggravation of my speakers, is something I'm urged to do. I, along with many others, find this Socratic approach of knowing as well as training to be incredibly useful in building a fundamental understanding of maths and physics from standard principles, as well as I endeavour to inform in precisely this way.

I wish I could inspire students with my intense love of mathematics and physics or, at the minimum, expose the topics as far much less challenging than they show up. Naturally not everybody is a mathematician, and various minds find out at various rates, however I will certainly aim to leave a long-term and beneficial impact.
